5863 - The human with the mushrooms
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Angeliki Papadopoulou
The human with the mushrooms
had no hope for the others
was no longer looking at their mistakes
he was searching for the unknown in order to live
like one god that fell to earth.
He had met twice with the monster.
The one did not touch the oil pastel
and the other the steely sculptures.
Each one saw the other’s work
inside the gaze of humaneness.
They sat together not to see
the desert but the sand
and the granules with the scents.
