The classical world despite its beauty
could not suffice for the genius
that Leonardo da Vinci was.
He needed more than that
for expressing his thought
and creating his opus.
So inexorably, naturally,
he turned towards art
where everything was still possible.
In the quest of the world’s enigma
beyond the squaring of the circle
painting was the model.
It was this other Nature
which allowed to study the universe
by attempting to understand it.
And then in this frame
the mastery of matters
could pursue light.
