15959 - We are never the same after the reading of a book
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias
Humanity is reading more and writes even more. Societies read and write the same in the same way, but only for the present and about the everyday life. So sometimes we are full of writings that have no substance, but it does’nt matter, because Humanity filters and in the end they just remain. At the day level everyone pays attention to the newspaper. The newspaper has a value of one day. So, if the reference point for thinking is only the day, then the book is always useless. If the reference point is the chronos ,then the newspaper is always useless. If you think about it, even the magazine that was chosen by Достоевский, the magazine to which he selected and chosen the title, so to write his first works and to insert them slowly like episodes, was “Time.” As simple as that! He could’nt make it simpler and could not do something that is ambiguous. We know exactly, that he did not write “the period” or “the day” or “the daily.” What matters is the same as with expressions, when do we something that matters ,it remains. When it remains it means that there is a before and an after. This is what happens with the book. We are never the same after reading a book, but we’re just the same after reading a newspaper.
