19350 - To avoid the accusations

In order for the Turkish regime to avoid the accusations, that all these years it spoke exclusively for the revolutionary action of Kemal, it has started talking generally in a new-ottoman manner. Very simply it tries to convince us that Kemal even if he is a significant personality for most people in its country, he constitutes historically a parenthesis even if he reformed the script. With this method the state avoids the general criticism, since many of them focus, in the issue of Genocide, on Kemal. And all these take place because we think that it all occurred in 1915. The official historiography of Turkey has chosen for Kemal to have been born on May 19th, while we had only one period from December 1880 until May 1881 to coincide with May 19th 1919, when the turkish war of independence began. The period of the Trinity of Genocides begins in 1894 with the action of the Red Sultan, continues with the Young Turks and ends in 1923 with Kemal and the Lausanne Treaty. Kemal was secretly criticizing the Ottoman Empire and didn’t believe in the revolution of the Young Turks in the spring of 1908. In other words he didn’t constitute continuity and indeed for this reason it is a change in phase for the state. Therefore we see only genocide on a relay race. So, it is easy to place him in a historical parenthesis. Only that Genocide cannot be enclaved in that, because it overflows everywhere.
