The issue of natural gas and electrical energy come even more intensely to the fore. So while everyone turns exclusively to the political and economic problems, high strategy of Greece deals with energy and prepares for the next trilateral between Greece, Cyprus and Israel. It concerns a cooperation of the three countries which relates to the entire European Union. Its issue is energy security and this can be transformed into two components: security, and the issue of threats that are applied on these countries and energy, which relates to the field of natural gas. There is a framework of cooperation in both, and in fact of synergy since we have the two projects that are fundamental pillars, the East Med pipeline and the EuroAsia Interconnector cable. In both cases the trilateral allows the bridging in an energy level which provides also security and partial energy security for the European Union. So the three countries will play an even more significant geopolitical role and it is good to understand this in practice as quickly as possible.
