When you hear a Cypriot
to try to explain
quite simply
although he is a refugee
that it doen’t bother him
for turkish to be
a compulsory language
in the secondary education
carriculum,
then you understand
how ready he is
to resist
the invader
because he’s already thinking
as a servile
who does no longer have faith
in the Greek language
that was given to him,
without him being
competent
in protecting it
as Hellenism did
for centuries on.
