Rather than continuing to be concerned about a pipeline, which in actual fact doesn’t exist anymore, as per Russia’s decision, and with another one, which provides merely passing through prospects at best, if it ever occurs of course, it would be wise, to rationally think about the possibilities provided for job positions, not by garbage, but hydrocarbons themselves.
Because Greece is not down and out, but by the same token, this doesn’t mean that an idea recycling remedy would be sufficient, in order for her to be saved from this economic situation.
There could be a continuity and that is good, so that you can be placed on the chessboard, but there’s no need to look beyond the errors, in order to continue in a dead end regarding your options.
Without strategy whatever you may say doesn’t make sense, even if you are able to persuade those unrelated with the sector.
What’s therefore important, is for us to be concerned with the unresolved issues which entrap a concept regarding the future of Greece.
The demarcation of the EEZ with Italy, the tripartite agreement with Egypt and Cyprus, the licensing round re:the hydrocarbons, the amendment of the law on hydrocarbons, the licensing round in regards to seismic surveys, the EastMed pipeline, the EuroAsia Interconnector, the natural gas liquefaction plants, and all these and other issues, belong to a specific energean strategy, which offers practical and effective prospects for the future of our homeland, without restricting us into opting merely for cost saving measures, but to simultaneously contemplate development functions as well.
Dealing with elections is not enough, and as many as there may be, the government should obtain the competence and have the will, in order for us to move onto the next stage, as far as the Greek reality is concerned.
