A fact which has not yet been understood in regards to Greek EEZ, is that some continue to see it merely as an economic issue, which does not yet obtain an institutional entity.
In actual fact, the EEZ is already functioning as Greece’s prominence tool.
Greece through its EEZ, which is the second largest EEZ in the Mediterranean, is already mentioned throughout, due to its two tripartites and its contacts with both Italy and Albania, but even more so of late, throughout the Eastern Mediterranean context.
Initially, as an passage action field, but thereon as a source with strategic target reserves.
In other words, there are experts who are paying more and more attention to our homeland, and are completely indifferent in regards to the political and economic situation, because they can already observe the future of the region, which is not associated with the current data.
Therefore it is important to realize, that at a strategic level there’s already an exceedance, as the strategic data is examined, which by the way concerns very few even at a political level, due to ignorance or even indifference because of a partisanly approach.
The whole point however is, that Greece enhances its actual value through its EEZ. In other words, its EEZ, due to its size, its position and its value due to the hydrocarbons, is increasingly shaping up the whole context.
This is obvious even at a university level with all exposures taking place in this field which is regarding the future in which Greece belongs.
