22361 - With the terrorists the world becomes small
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Vicky Baklessi
With the terrorist hits that occur in various places in the world, everyone looks everywhere for what has happened in a place that one didn’t previously know. Of course this is the aim of the terrorists, since they try to intimidate everyone with their action. But at the same time there appears also a distant solidarity which we rarely see it in these distances. Now we pay attention to what occurs in France, in Belgium, in Libya, in Egypt, in Syria, in Iraq, in America, in Australia, in England, as if all these areas are close. In reality that is what has occurred in our noosphere, because these areas play a role in the same geopolitical chessboard. In other words, each one of us feels more intensely and more consciously, together with others. And the victims, as a notion are no longer so anonymous, as they were in the past. This feeling must now be organized in a manner more strategic, if we really want to confront terrorism and not simply operate as observers who have no idea about the past and about the preparations that took place in the past in order to arrive to this situation. Because it is about a crisis which has a past and it simply isn’t an epiphenomenon. This small world is also the world of humanity, a piece of Humanity which struggle frees within the obscurantism which organizes barbarity
