22634 - Cyprus needs strategy and energy

Cyprus needs strategy and energy rather than pseudonegotiations which lead to nowhere.
The Cypriot EEZ is the correct, the strategic and the rational context required.
The natural gas extraction should therefore be activated, in order for the utilization to take place, for agreements made with Noble-Delek-Avner and indirectly wlth the British Group regarding marine plot 12, with Total re: marine land 11, and with the ENI -KOGAS consortium regarding marine plots 2, 3 and 9, and finally for the third licensing round to function.
The two tripartites between Greece-Cyprus-Israel and Egypt-Greece-Cyprus must pass through to an implementation phase at a practical level as well.
It’s not wise therefore to waste time in pseudonegotiations without prospects, since they don’t even obtain the financial background in order to be supported, when it comes to national applications.
And it’s not wise putting forward legal assessment which in the long run collapse, because we realize that they were created upon special requests, unable to stand at an international level.
Cyprus, with the European Union and its EEZ, is a country that has prospects, because it’s pursuing a high strategy which has nothing to do with negotiations at a community level, because the whole substance of the Cypriot issue lays at a national level.
The rich verbalism and the statements which change every now and then, in combination with a liberated style of the guarantor powers do not convince anyone.
Whereas the Cypriot EEZ has changed the data and should now be utilised strategically for the future of Cyprus.
