In Gallipoli
at the cemeteries
of ANZAC
we saw the magnitude
of dignity
and human sacrifice
when there is need
to fight with bravery
the barbarity
so on each grave
and each stone
beside the flowers
of the beloved
we read the pain
but also the humanity
of the soldiers
who crossed the earth
reaching the other end
in order to help
the free besieged
to liberate
their homeland
so that there no longer be
occupation by barbarians.
