Denazification was a necessity.
Decommunization is a necessity.
The first was rather easy in practice
but the second is still in progress.
The difference is not related
to the difference of ideology
but to the duration of their principal models:
-12 years for the Third Reich
-69 years for the Soviet Union.
Many more people were implicated in the second barbarity.
And the problem at the practical level is the following:
decommunization is believed to be a power game of elites.
In fact the urgency of the economic problems
of post-communism makes
the crimes of communism
look like old crimes
for many new citizens.
That’s why the problem of decommunization
is still alive.
And in this context, believers of this religion
still want to justify their ideology.
We still have to fight against Neo Nazis and Neo communists.
