For the totalitarian systems,
the survivors are a system error.
They should have been removed.
Their existence beyond death is a problem.
Firstly it is an error because it proves that
the system wasn’t effective.
Secondly it’s a problem because their testimony
can be at the end their legacy
to the struggle of Mankind.
Because they can continue to accuse
the perpetrators
for their acts of barbarity.
In fact, the survivors are also
the proof of the failure
of the system.
Because its target was to destroy any trace
of its barbarity no matter what form.
Genocide,
crimes against Humanity,
tortures and deportations
shouldn’t have any trace.
The system failed to erase the proofs.
And it’s sufficient to contemplate on survivors
to understand it.
