6473 - Forty years later
N. Lygeros
Translation: Paola Vagioni
“Bare head,
the hair cut short,
the face long and the traits fine,
the gaze blue and straight,
the man despite his forties,
still seemed thin
in his raincoat.”
It was inside the corridor
the one of a train that was moving
inside the decor
of a midday sun of spring.
Nothing would allow to predict
this fortuitous encounter.
It did not last but a moment
though just enough
to give a meaning
to the world of the absurd.
