When the people of the sea
met the land of stones
it was in a gesture of humanity
against barbarity.
Far from everywhere in the ocean
it was only through wisdom,
that they decided to condemn
the horror of oblivion.
Taking no account of the pressures
and of the indifference of society
the men of the sea
picked the side of humanity.
