The Conference re: the strategic preparation, of the energean Crete, is indicative in an actionable and exemplary manner, that the creation of a Hydrocarbon Master at Heraklions TAFE, which comes to follow the successful example of Kavala’s TAFE, it’s at this point of time absolutely necessary.
Because with the new data they can all see that Crete opens her paths in the areas of energy, and its strategic importance and utilization, through a smart management.
It is therefore necessary for our young students to prepare themselves for this opportunities, as they will directly involve Crete.
It is not therefore merely regarding, a theoretical Master without application options, but on the contrary, it is regarding the preparation of a context which would activate the island’s action field as well.
There are already competent teachers who are able to support the project on location, and there will definitely be other specialists on the issue who will contribute in their own way as they do so in the case of Kavala’s TAFE, re: the equivalent Master.
Consequently we can already imagine a reinforced core which will implement this vision for the city, so that we obtain specific specialists both at technical and scientific levels, who would be able to effectively utilize the new data of the Eastern Mediterranean, and in particular those regarding the South of Crete
With the existence of a general coordination, which is created through the Conference, we could imagine the initial function of the Master as from this year, in order to avoid any delays in regards to the developments.
