Even though it is unbelievable to most people who have never believed in the Greek EEZ, the preparations which are taking place in regards of the tripartite with Egypt and Cyprus are continuing and effectively at that, because the issues are moving on, due to the discovery of the hypergigantic reserve.
Indeed, even the most doubtful are now forced to admit that the Eastern Mediterranean is one of the world’s regions with the greatest potential for hydrocarbons.
They also observe, that the oil companies show their strategic interest even more openly, in regards to marine plots which are already accessible in concession rounds in both Cyprus and Egypt.
Therefore, we see that no matter who the government is, even the most irrelevant one, because the Greek EEZ is above partisan politics, and everyone is forced by the data, not only to make movements, but to take actions as well.
Of course this doesn’t mean that there’s strategy on their part, but simply because we’ve reached the tactical level, all, and any government, are bound to implement our demands.
In other words, reality has already begun to configure the decisions.
And if initiatives have not been taken all this time, nothing can alter things as there are about to happen, because the future has begun automated, even without initiatives.
All that matters is to see the demarcations of the Greek EEZ, and if they are due only to the discoveries in the region, and not to advice, that doesn’t interest us at all.
None of the genuine fighters pro the Greek EEZ issue expect any justification, the result is sufficient for them.
Because no one expects the governments to understand mental schemes. All we want is for them to implement them.
We have reached this stage after years of struggle.
Therefore everyone knows what the government’s role was in regards to this issue’s development.
Even in the case that they all will try to explain to us that the results are due to them, we do not mind.
The EEZ is Greece’s future and that is the only matter of substance.
