When we speak of the beauty of our islands, we have the tendency to consider that it is normal and we must wait for a European contest to discover their real value. What is most interesting is that even if we win first place, we don’t make the most of it while it directly concerns us. Here the contest which is based on a calculating algorithm of qualitative and quantitative critiques and comments for attractions, restaurants, which enhanced Santorini in 2015 as the most beautiful island in Europe. In fact within the first ten islands are Crete in third position and Zakynthos in fourth position, while the contest is European. When we take into account all the difficulties we went through to have the lead and the other two positions, it reaches the limits of unrealistic. We must realize this value which remains diachronic, so that we invest on it, not in a financial manner, but with strategy, so that it has a depth in time for laying down the foundations of our course. Because the beauty, whether we want it or not is a value which stays and touches all of Humanity.
