19661 - When history became a scream
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias
For so many years silence prevailed.
That was the aim of the genocide.
And no one dared to speak.
They were all were afraid to die.
Until the Just came along.
Thereon, everything changed.
Because they were causing awe to the genocidors as well.
Then, the scream of history begun.
And none of the guilty could bear it.
Because they knew they would be condemned for their crimes against Humanity.
Innocence had thereon obtained a voice.
And it was just.
Nothing would be blind.
The Just, with their values did not forget anything.
And would not accept any excuse.
Each accused would be convicted.
Not because of revenge but because of justice.
A nation could not be merely a victim.
It had not been born for this reason.
And its civilisation would not become extinguished,
because the genocidors wanted so.
Barbarism would not win.
It was aware of it.
