19545 - Constantinople did not fall because of Asia

Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias
Structurally, Constantinople constitutes the cutting edge of Europe and not of Asia, because it is the edge, and the angle top of Thrace. Created around a topostrategic triangle with two sea sides, which are more resistant due to the fluid element and also a mainland side.
When we are talking about the Fall of 1453, we forget to emphasize on the fact, that it occurred through Thrace and not through Asia, following the conquest of all the fortresses that protected as a network, its european side.
If furthermore we recall, that the reconquest of 1261 by Alexios Strategopoulos was made possible from the same side, then we could understand why the Sevres and Lausanne Treaties foresaw and foresee, for a buffer zone on this particular side.
Thrace stops chronostrategically in Constantinople, and any degeneration of this strategic mental scheme, results in being dangerous in regards to a level of high strategy.
In actual fact, if we include in our way of thinking, that Europe is a topostrategic angle, with the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and the Ural Mountains, then we could understand that Constantinople will be liberated from the European side, as geographically it is cut off from the Asian one.
Therefore, there is no need to ask ourselves, what will its future be, as the mnemosyne gives the answer.
So let’s keep reminding ourselves, in order to be prepared as the Hellenism, which lives on by the centuries, rather than years.
