15054 - The first battle
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Vicky Baklessi
The first battle reminded the previous ones. The little giant hadn’t forgotten anything and looked at the big opponent without being afraid. The years did not matter. The millennium had already started a while now. His opening was closed from the beginning, because he wanted to maintain each position and not sacrifice needlessly anyone of his own. And he opposed every move of the enemy as if he was fighting with barbarity. Then we understood that he did not play with our lives because his aim was clear. He would not allow any conqueror trespass our land. All of our lines were bonds without bondages. He did not make us defend ourselves. Everything was normal like an invisible mechanism that functioned ceaselessly and relentlessly until the end of the mission. That was it. The battle was a mission and nothing could get in our way.
