Translated from the Greek by Athina Kehagias

During the time that everyone’s glance is turned towards Turkey in order to examine in every detail the most absurd, geophysical surveys are planned in the marine regions, West of Crete and Southwest of Crete.
In fact, we follow the planned program decided by the ExxonMobil, Total and Hellenic Petroleum consortium.
Actually, information was provided to regional Crete, therefore, even the most disbelieving ones ought to now adapt to the new data, and finally accept what a catalytic role is played by the Greek EEZ for the entire Crete and beyond.
The geophysical researches will occur in the first two months of 2021.
So it will be yet another beautiful way to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the beginning of the liberation of the Greek Nation, and it will be a justification for those who were sacrificed and fought, so that we may be free to make such decisions.
It will in fact be a way to practically enhance our positions in regards to Libya as well, which is experiencing so many changes during this period.
In this process we will obtain more than 3,000 kilometers of 2D seismic data, in order to then move onto 3D seismics, so that we may get ready for the drilling program.
