46292 - The USA recognize the genocide of the Armenians

Translated from the Greek by Vicky Baklessi

Finally after so many years of common struggle, the USA officially recognize through the Congress the Genocide of the Armenians. With the resolution 296 thanks to 405 members of the Congress, America recognizes simultaneously that Turkey is responsible for the Genocide of the Armenians, the Assyrians, the Greeks, the Maronites, the Syrians, the Chaldeans and other Christian peoples. This resolution is not only a justification for the memory of the victims and the survivors, but a counterattack of the Righteous against the barbarity of the Turkish regime of the era which committed this multiple genocide of the christian peoples but also against current Turkey who continues to deny the existence of genocide and commits genocide of memory. It is a beautiful slap to all those who supported the position of behavioral convergence of the USA President and that of Turkey’s President, because now it will be hard to succeed in convincing us that the Americans are for Turkey and against the Kurds. Besides they will also have to readily confront the statements of Turkey against the USA for this resolution. We should also remember during which US Presidency this resolution passed. So the issue of genocide is that which separates the ethical stance of the states. And here it is obvious in the most clear manner that the USA supported the innocents without being influenced by the Turkish lobbies that did all they could for this resolution not to pass blackmailing the Congress.
