38163 - Greek EEZ, Cyprus EEZ and US contracts

At Marine block 10 of the Cypriot EEZ, all the required environmental and archaeological researches took place, for the drilling preparation on behalf of the American Exxon Mobil, without any problems whatsoever.
Of course, because no problems came about, the media didn’t really bother dealing with the entire issue, because there wasn’t a context for catastrophology available.
At this point we are going through the 60 day period, which started on the 5th of March 2018, after which Greece has to respond to the consortium’s applications. Repsol-Hellenic Petroleum for the Ionian Sea and Exxon Mobil-Total-Hellenic Petroleum for the marine regions of Western Crete and South Western Crete.
Because there is only one consortium per region, Greece has no selection choice, therefore a diplomatic problem couldn’t even be created.
The licensing round is progressing normally, and Greece will be able to achieve
something that in the future we will consider an achievement, whereas the media don’t bother about it.
In other words, we have the largest oil company, which is a player in both the EEZ of Cyprus and the EEZ of Greece which in fact doesn’t yet exist.
It functions in an alliance context with another company with an enormous range in the field, that been Total, and we take it all for granted, eventhough that never ever occurred in the past.
There is a co-operation with Eni as well, yet another giant in the field, but we couldn’t care less.
Eventhough a few years ago we couldn’t even imagine it.
None of these companies co-operates with the neighbouring country, whereas, they all are preparing to drill within the Greek EEZ, and are already doing so within the Cypriot EEZ.
What else should take place in order for the Greek nation to be filled with joy.
Maybe so to learn about it from the media which however deals merely with issues of catastrophology because it simply sells more.
They forget however that Hellenism doesn’t function in that manner, and it always takes into account the morale of the nation.
