Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

The Byzantine history is not beneficial on historical terms alone.
It comprises of many strategic mental schemes.
It offers great advises, both in regards to the tactics and the strategics.
However, the Byzantine reality is even more important, because it lasted eleven centuries, and no one can ignore that, since it is an innovation and simultaneously a preeminence.
In terms of Chronostrategy, Byzantium proved that it could manage the withdrawal and could utilize the recapture.
All that is stable in Byzantium is certainly not the space, but the Time, and that gives a lot of potentials as a field of resistance, where there is a seizure that leads to the occupation, because there, the lack of sovereignty can lead to despair, whereas, through Time, there are alternative methods, if we dynamically utilize the options on the branchings.
In other words, the Byzantine polemological approach is more effective, because it works in depth of Time.
In Byzantium, the moves on the chessboard last from decades up to centuries.
The Byzantine Time is different, because it incorporates strategy.
And these elements are lessons for Hellenism as per its evolution, and could be implemented in both Greece and Cyprus in regards to the Large and the Small Occupied territories.
Because when we overcome the everydayness stage, and we finally deal with the future, as Time is with us, then we will discover that the withdrawal and the occupation are cornerstones for our development..
