The EEZ issue reaches everyone, not only in Cyprus but also in Greece.
But as in Cyprus it has passed on to a practical level, it has even more significance.
Also, we observe the following phenomenon, whenever we have new data, and it is quite positive, we consider it normal. Because we are in a context of defeatism.
And some utilize it in order to promote ideas of servility.
Consequently, information surfaces, which is incomplete, in order to cause panic through scaremongering.
It’s a good thing that the Church of Cyprus, by its Archbishop, does not mumble its words and names a spade a spade, without falling into the trap of misinformation.
Therefore, in order to be more specific regarding the Cypriot EEZ, the Cypriot Church, understands that it creates a context of liberetion for our country.
So, it’s not frightened by irrelevant moves by Turkey and so it continues to practically support the high strategy chosen by Cyprus.
It examines in detail the data concerning marine plots and understands the tactics of foreign companies, when they give preference to new marine plots of the Cypriot EEZ.
Because it’s able to differentiate between all founded elements, from those that are irrelevant and simply constitute, merely, journalistic comments lacking any scientific and technical knowledge.
Therefore, we must be satisfied about the fact that the Cypriot Church knows how to stand firmly in the EEZ field as well.
